Berenice Marlohe

Berenice Lim Marlohe was born in France. Most well-known is her acting as Bondgirl's anti-heroin Severine in the twenty-third James Bond Film Skyfall. Her television credits include Pere et Maire Femmes de loi, and Equipe medicale d'urgence. She was a part of the French comedy Un bonheur n'arrive ever alone, alongside Sophie Marceau although not appearing in the credits. Also, she is the brand ambassador of Omega Watches. Berenice is a French Chinese as well as a Cambodian born from Paris France, May 19th 1979. The father of her is Chinese as is her mother French. She is from the middle class family that has both Chinese and Cambodian origins. Her mother was a teacher while her father is an ophthalmologist. Growing up in Paris she was enthralled with the arts and spent most of her childhood playing piano and creating images. She was inspired by the arts and painting, which were her two biggest passions. The Jack Waltzer workshop is the spark that ignited her career. After attending a workshop by Jack Waltzer, she was passionate about acting. She finished 10 years of study at Paris Conservatory after this. After graduating from college she immediately began auditioning for film roles. In 2007, her first film role came in The Discordance. In the beginning of her career, she had difficulty securing roles that could help her develop the desired character. The actor has an enormous influence within the business. Inexperience was the main factor in her being turned down by many of the best filmmakers and film agents.
